Privacy Policy

Kratom Cut is operated and published by Pasha Kalachev as an individual.

Kratom Cut is designed to be private and local-first.

Kratom Cut does not require an account. The app does not use a backend API for tracking or sync, cloud sync, advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or tracking SDKs. Support and legal links may open kratomcut.com in a browser.

1. Data stored on your device

Kratom Cut stores app information locally on your device, including setup choices, taper plans, taper steps, dose logs, daily summaries, baseline observations, cold turkey milestones, cold turkey events, educational article data, reminders, and app settings.

This policy covers Kratom Cut for iOS and Android. Tracking records use on-device storage: Apple storage on iOS, and Room and DataStore on Android. These records are not automatically sent to Kratom Cut or an analytics provider. On Android, app cloud backup and device transfer of the app database and preferences are disabled.

2. Notifications

Kratom Cut uses local iOS and Android notifications for reminders, dose timing, daily check-ins, and cold turkey milestones if you enable them.

Notification scheduling happens locally on your device. Notification data is not sent to a server.

3. Accounts and cloud sync

Kratom Cut does not create user accounts and does not provide cloud sync.

4. Advertising and analytics

Kratom Cut does not use ads, advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or tracking SDKs.

5. Purchases

Apple processes App Store purchases through your Apple account. Google processes Android purchases through your Google Play account. Their services handle payment information under their own terms and privacy policies. Kratom Cut does not receive your payment card details or send purchase information to a developer-operated server. The app checks purchase status with the store and keeps premium-access state locally.

6. Widgets, recap images, and app reviews

Optional home-screen widgets display a local snapshot of your tracking information. Anyone who can see your screen may be able to see that information.

When you choose Save or Share for a recap, the app creates an image from the details you selected. Saving puts that image in your photo library or Pictures folder. Sharing passes it to the app or recipient you choose, which handles it under its own policies. Android uses temporary file-access grants for sharing; Android 9 and earlier request storage permission to save images. The app does not upload recaps automatically.

Android may offer Google Play's optional review dialog. If you submit a rating or review, Google Play processes it and may publish it with your Play profile, or share closed-test feedback with the developer. Tracking records are not included automatically. You can manage reviews through Google Play.

7. Support email

If you contact support by email, we may receive your email address and whatever information you choose to include in your message. Please do not send sensitive medical details in support requests.

Support emails are used only to respond to your request, troubleshoot app issues, and improve the app.

8. Retention and deleting app data

You can delete local tracking and setup records from inside the app using Delete All Data. This removes local tracking records, saved article data, app settings stored with those records, onboarding draft data, and scheduled notifications.

Local records remain until you delete them or remove the app. On iOS, some non-tracking UI or widget state may remain until the app is removed. Android also clears widget snapshots and tracking preferences through Delete All Data; review-prompt timing preferences may remain. Images already saved to your photo library, shared copies, store purchase records, and submitted reviews are not removed by deleting app data. Manage those through the destination or store. Deleting app data does not cancel a subscription.

Because Kratom Cut does not maintain user accounts or cloud storage, we cannot recover deleted local data.

9. Children

Kratom Cut is intended for adults. It is not designed for children.

10. Medical disclaimer

Kratom Cut is a self-tracking and educational tool. It does not diagnose, prescribe, treat, provide medical advice, or connect users to clinicians.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy if the app changes. The effective date above will be updated when changes are made.
